Rudi Bonzanini

Rudi Bonzanini was a renowned Italian industrial designer, best known for his innovative contributions to furniture design in the mid-20th century. He is particularly celebrated for his work with Italian furniture companies during the 1960s and 1970s, when modernist aesthetics were at their peak.

One of his most iconic creations is the Zanotta Gala chair, designed in 1966. This chair exemplifies the innovative use of materials and bold, futuristic design that defined the era. It features a rotating base and a molded fiberglass shell, often upholstered in vibrant fabrics or leather, reflecting the playful yet functional design ethos of the period.
